Group support
Not every young person needs 1:1 support — and not every family needs the 1:1 price tag.
WTAFL groups give young people a safe, relaxed space to understand their anxiety, build confidence and practise skills that actually work in real life.
And no, this isn't 90 minutes of me talking at them.
They can join in through chat, polls, activities and discussion. Cameras can stay off while confidence builds, and nobody gets put on the spot. We start where they are. I will contact you and your young person prior to the sessions starting. Reminding your young person they are somewhere safe, they're not 'in a room' with other strangers and ultimately this is to help them.
What's included
- 8 young people sessions
- 2 parent sessions
- 10 weeks of support
- Around 90 minutes per session
- Small groups of around 8–10
- Fully online
- Practical strategies to try between sessions
Daytime school-anxiety groups
For young people whose anxiety is getting in the way of school, there's a smaller daytime group with a calmer pace and more focus on rebuilding confidence and gradually getting back to doing life.
Parents — you're part of this too
You'll join me for two sessions where we look at what keeps the anxiety and avoidance cycle going. This will also be the time for me to discuss and help support you with school issues. At the end of each session with your young person, you will be updated via WhatsApp as to what was discussed with regard to strategies that actually help, and how you can support progress without every day turning into a battle.
